Reopening Roadmap: COVIDSafe
Yay for the final step in Melbourne Metro’s roadmap to COVID Normal – we can now get back to Kindergym (covidSAFE of course!)
Whilst we are working on our new permanent space, Kindergym will run for the next six weeks from Cabellero Classical Ballet Studio in Frankston located at 3 Baldywn Street, Frankston VIC 3199.
Why Cabellero Classical Ballet Studio?
Whilst not quite perfect for Kindergym, the ballet studio is the safest way to run classes for the next six weeks:
- Kindergym students will use the space in the mornings, it will be cleaned, ballet students use the space in the afternoon and it will be cleaned again
- Only kindergym and ballet families will be in the studio (ie. this is not a shared community space)
- The studio is reasonable toddler proof
Beth (who runs the ballet studio) shares the same high standards for cleaning which is very important to me.
Working in a ballet space:
The ballet studio floors are expensive professional dance floors so bare feet only and no food or drink. There is a space to have water outside the studio dance rooms and we’ll need to keep snacks in the car (just for six weeks – we can do this!).
We have new stuff! We’ve had to pack away some items like ball pits and swings but have new equipment to ensure there is lots of covidSAFE fun! There are new climbing frames and an inflatable tumble run for bouncing down (kind of like a long low trampoline).

Pricing
Casual Pass: $25 per child per session
10 Class Pass: $200 for the 1st child, $100 siblings
